Tradition on Innovation – Always

The EXECPLAN was founded in 1982, with a tradition of continuous innovation to keep pace with rapidly changing software market, aimed at meeting the needs of managers and executives.

From 1982 to 1990, the company acted as a representative of English THORN EMI Computer Software in Brazil, making the implementation of Decision Support Systems for mainframes and micros. From 1984 to EXECPLAN consolidated itself as leader in this segment in Brazil, but as the mainframe market began its decline in 90 years, new technologies began to be studied.

From 1991 until 1999, the EXECPLAN pioneered the software implementation of EIS (Executive Information Systems) and from 1995 also OLAP from PILOT Software - which earned itself the lead in the EIS market in Brazil.

In 1995 EXECPLAN began software development, initially with business solutions for faster implementation of the EIS – the product was the FAST EIS. With the success of this initiative, three years after was launched the FAST BI - the first Business Intelligence in Brazil. Until 1999, the FAST BI was the flagship of the company but was still retained the activity distribution of other products.

In 2000 EXECPLAN started the partnership with Microsoft, which has become the technology platform for all lines of business solutions, both in the database, as tools for development.

Microsoft has been chosen by EXECPLAN due to low cost platform for customers, as well as high flexibility and capacity of the database.
In the same year, EXECPLAN consolidated the creation and development their solutions. Initially the focus was on BI - Business Intelligence solutions, with the development of advanced technological resources to support the decision making process of executives, and the beginning of a unique combination of strategy and differentiated approach to ensure project success.

The continuous investment in innovation-oriented analysis, simulations and projections led to the creation of vertical applications of the FAST BI, which from 2003 began to be made available for specific market segments.

Today there are several specialized EXECPLAN INTELLIGENCE solutions for specific verticals to meet the needs of each market segment, with industry analysis specifically designed to meet executives from various segments such as: Banks, Insurance Companies, Manufacturing, Services, Government, Retail, Wholesale and Distribution, Healthcare, Hospitality, Media (radio, TV, magazines and newspapers), Education, Government, Oil and Gas, and so on.

Due the EXECPLAN INTELLIGENCE solution architecture and experience of more than 29 years in Best Practices to meet managers and executives information needs, EXECPLAN can quickly deliver vertical analysis for any specific segment, always in partnership with a company or with specialists in each segment market.

Most comprehensive analysis to Optimize Your Results

In late 2005, the Business Intelligence (BI) have gained a new focus: CORPORATE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT (CPM) that aims to provide executives with extensive analytical capabilities to be able to optimize results and reduce costs, allowing big gains with significant improving the decision making process, i.e., were initiated research and development to have much more precision of analysis in much less time.

In the same year was launched the first EXECPLAN solution for planning and budget, with applications that facilitate the planning of demand, costs, expenses, etc... in all areas of the company, allowing the creation of a corporate budget in a fast, flexible and accurately way.

EXECPLAN also created a Balanced Scorecard - BSC solution to monitor the implementation of strategic planning, meeting all the requirements defined by Norton and Kaplan for BSC, to complete the product line with focus in the managers and executive needs.

In July 2005, also started the CMMI implementation, globally recognized methodology to improve software quality, and from 2008 all EXECPLAN products are already developed at level 3 of CMMI and the investment are continuous to improve the quality of our solutions.

Expansion of operations in Brazil and other countries

When completed 25 years of operation in 2007, with continuous investment in innovation to enhance and develop solutions with focus on business, EXECPLAN moved to new headquarters and infrastructure, as well as the creation of a new technology architecture that marked the beginning of the next 25 years to expand its presence in domestic and international.

Since 2008, the vertical products were remake into a single platform and architecture, with three solutions: EXECPLAN INTELLIGENCE to Optimize Results and Reduce Costs, which has specialized verticals, the EXECPLAN PLANNING for Planning and Budget, and the EXECPLAN BSC to monitor the Strategic Planning implementation, and the solutions can be used independently or integrated.

In 2009 began EXECPLAN EUROPE operations, based in Lisbon, which aims to open new channels and partnerships, expanding our presence in Portugal and Africa, where we have clients in Angola and Mozambique through our partners in Portugal.

From 2010, our solutions have been given the option of being used "on the cloud", i.e. can be used with access to specialized sites, without the company having to invest in own infrastructure of servers, communication and security. At end of 2010 was launched the first version of EXECPLAN INTELLIGENCE running at iPAD.

The EXECPLAN continually invests in the latest technologies to provide executives with the most comprehensive solutions, always with state of the art technology, with analytical resources specially created to make easier the life of executives, making possible Optimize Results and Reduce Costs in our customers that adopted our solutions.

OUR  CLIENTS  PARTICIPATES  OF  THE  DECISIONS

The EXECPLAN customers are called to participate of our solutions evolution, giving opinions and suggestions at the Clients Advisory Council and at the Clients Committee, which are fundamental for our solutions to be always aligned to our Client’s needs, and can overcome their expectations.

The Clients Council was created in 2007, and since 2008 the meetings occurs always in April and September of each year. At these meeting we present and provide the new versions of EXECPLAN solutions to our Clients, always seeing the suggestions and priorities defined by our customers at the last semester meeting.

Our focus is the continuum upgrade and innovation, so our clients can have much more precision of analysis, in less time, improving the Methodology and also the implementation Strategy, which are indispensable to our projects success.
